Praising God among the nations…

Here is what I think most people ‘hear’ when they think about praising God among the nations — Matthew Henry says it best,

When the heart is firm in faith and love, the tongue, being employed in grateful praises, is our glory. Every gift of the Lord honours and profits the possessor, as it is employed in God’s service and to his glory. Believers may pray with assured faith and hope, for all the blessings of salvation; which are secured to them by the faithful promise and covenant of God. Then let them expect from him help in every trouble, and victory in every conflict. Whatever we do, whatever we gain, God must have all the glory. Lord, visit all our souls with this salvation, with this favour which thou bearest to thy chosen people.

Other blogs comment like this popular one, “Songs go where evangelism, witnessing, and planned outreach sometimes cannot go.”  You can imagine the rest of the content.

Can I offer what God has been dealing in my heart over the past month?

HE WANTS US OUT IN THE WORLD AMONG THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD AND TELL THEM HE IS AN AWESOME GOD AND THAT HE SENT HIS SON JESUS TO SAVE US – PRAISE THE LORD!!!

Got that out of my system.

Why do we always pick the safe and easy way of following God – no desire for any kind of adventure whatsoever?

Lord, teach me how to share my faith with the whole world – let me share my praise for you to all the people of the world and in as many languages as I possibly can!
